Lucy Love is a sound alchemist, weaving deep organic house, tribal Afro rhythms, and psychedelic acid basslines to uplift the spirit and awaken the soul. Her love for electronic music was forged on the dancefloors of New York City’s 90s underground rave scene. Her sound is shaped by the vibrant cultures of the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, enriched by years of living abroad as a foreign correspondent, deepened through her immersion in ceremonial healing spaces. When not in front of the camera for CNN, Lucy Kafanov can be found playing a festival stage in Thailand, Burning Man, or at a Denver ecstatic dance. Her DJ sets are an invitation to choose joy.
